Angry Lemon Van Driver to Plead Guilty
David Cross accepted a negotiated plea from the Rockingham County Attorney.

A Massachusetts man who crashed a van into six cars at the Portsmouth Ford Used Car lot on Lafayette Road in July because he said he bought a lemon will plead guilty, according to court documents.
David Cross, 42, of 21 North St. in Salisbury has agreed to accept a negotiated plea bargain from the Rockingham County Attorney's office after he was charged with six counts of felony criminal mischief (vandalism) and driving after revocation or suspension after he flagged down a Portsmouth Police officer shortly after midnight on July 18 and told the police officer what he had done.
Cross told police he puchased a used vehicle from the car dealership and believed it was a "lemon" after it experienced various problems.
