Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization providing the highest level of critical care transport by air and ground to patients in need—regardless of their circumstances. For more than 40 years, since our founding in 1985, we have set the standard for clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in the air medical industry. Our tagline, “Your Life. Whether responding to an emergency scene or transferring a critically ill patient between hospitals, our team delivers seamless, patient-centered care during some of the most challenging moments in a person’s life. As a nonprofit, we are guided by one unwavering principle: every patient deserves access to lifesaving care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Each year, Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring no patient is ever turned away. Our clinical teams are among the most highly trained and experienced in the world, caring for patients of all ages—from premature infants to older adults—across a wide range of conditions. These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. Every clinician completes an intensive onboarding and education program that includes hospital ICU and emergency department rotations, pediatric and neonatal critical care experience, high-fidelity simulation training, advanced procedural labs, and comprehensive classroom instruction in transport medicine. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.

The entire slate of the River House Restaurant Concert Series still hasn't been announced. But already, signs are up throughout downtown and the website for the arts festival says that DiFranco is set to play Prescott Park on Wednesday, June 20, at 7 p.m. DiFranco, a folk singer with more than 20 albums to her credit, has played the Music Hall in Portsmouth on several occasions, but this will be her first time playing Prescott Park. So far, the only other event listed on the Prescott Park Arts Festival's website is the 28th annual WOKQ Chowder Festival, which is slated for June 2, at 11:30 a.m. The remainder of the summer schedule will be revealed on Friday, according to John Moynihan, general manager of the arts festival. Those who are interested can also get a sneak peek at the entire summer lineup inside the menus at the River House, he said.
