The announcement was made at the 100 Club on Wednesday night, according to PPAF Executive Director Ben Anderson.
"We have a great director, Billy Butler, guiding the show, and are never disappointed by the outstanding cast of actors and actresses that make the magic happen each year," says Anderson in a prepared statement. "We're confident that Annie is going to be a huge hit this summer."

Annie tells the story of a young orphan girl, whose charming personality (and distinguishing red hair) wins the heart of many, including the wealthy Mr. Warbucks. Annie's journey to find her family is not met without a struggle, however, against orphanage owner, Miss Hannigan, and her crafty schemes to make it to Easy Street. The musical is well-known for its popular soundtrack and beloved story line.
Anderson said the first performance of Annie will be on Friday, June 28 on the FairPoint Communications Mainstage in Prescott Park, and will be held every Thursday through Sunday during the summer season.
