- $10 gift certificate from Penny University Coffee House for 3rd in division.
In working to secure these prizes, NFLR Founder and Certified Running Coach Mike Davis said the credit goes to area businesses and sponsors. “Runner’s Alley has always been tremendously supportive of this race, and this year they have been joined by so many others,” he said. “We feel that great prizes that go pretty deep into every age category will help attract more participants.”
In keeping with its own mission to help educate runners of all abilities, all participants will also have access to various NFLR running related resources at bib pickup and on race day.
“We want this to be an incredible experience for people of all ages, especially those new to community races,” Davis added.
Scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 1, the Apple Harvest Day 5K Road Race is part of the 32nd annual Apple Harvest Day, which attracted approximately 60,000 people last year.
