Portsmouth High Clippers, Dover High Greenwave to play annual Turkey Bowl game.

Still riding high from their champshionship victory on Saturday, the Portsmouth High Clippers football team will take on the Dover High Greenwave in the annual Turkey Bowl game on Thursday at 10 a.m.

Dover High, which finished their season with an 8-5 record, will be looking to defeat their arch Thanksgiving Day rival after the Greenwave came up short against Bishop Guertin last Saturday in the Division II title game, 16-7.

The Clippers, who finished their season with a record of 8-3, fresh off their impressive 41-6 win over the Bedford High Bulldogs, would like to keep the momentum going with a win over Dover High on their home Dunaway Field before they enjoy their turkey dinners with their familes.
