PORTSMOUTH— Atlantic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is pleased to announce the addition of a new provider to their practice. Daniel Zipin, DO, has joined the team as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician. He enters the practice after spending 11 years providing non-operative spine care to the Seacoast. Dr. Zipin was named 2020 Top Doctor for physical medicine and rehabilitation by New Hampshire Magazine. His training includes evaluation, diagnosis, and management of neuromusculoskeletal conditions of the spine.
Prior to practicing and living in the Seacoast, Zipin completed a fellowship in interventional spine procedures at Integrated Pain Management in Walnut Creek CA, and completed his residency at Boston Medical Center. He is a graduate of University of New England School of Osteopathic Medicine and Colby College, both in Maine.

Zipin specializes in diagnostic and therapeutic fluoroscopic guided spinal injections and electrodiagnostic studies (EMGs). He is an expert in permanent impairment ratings and independent medical examinations.
“Most spinal conditions are treated non-operatively. My goal is to improve the lives of my patients by restoring function. I try to do this by collaborating with patients, creating an individualized rehabilitation and recovery program. My goal is not only to treat a patient's acute pain but also help prevent future injury,” said Zipin.
