Attracting and Retaining Employees through the Recovery Community
Attend Wednesday, March 4 panel discussion at Portsmouth Community Radio
PORTSMOUTH – Substance misuse costs the state of NH more than 2.36 billion dollars per year, and a majority of that cost (1.5 billion dollars) is carried by businesses. Workforce acquisition and retention challenges face many of our regional businesses. NH employers, including those in the Seacoast, are increasingly turning to the addiction recovery community for resources, thus enabling these companies to attract and retain these talented workers. Learn how your business can tap into this group of future employees.
Join other Seacoast businesses on Wednesday, March 4, 8:15 to 10 a.m., in a thought-provoking forum where you’ll discover local recovery-oriented services for employers and employees, and learn about grant funding for back-to-work training programs available to your business.
Take advantage of learning from the experiences and best practices of other Recovery Friendly Workplaces from a panel including Cava Tapas & Wine Bar, the Chameleon Group, Teatotaller Tea House and Turbocam International.
