Autism Benefit 9/21 at Redhook Brewery

The Birchtree Center will host a "Benefit for Learning" on September 21st at Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth. The event features live music, live and silent auctions, appetizers, and a cash bar, with proceeds to benefit Birchtree's autism programs.

The nonprofit Birchtree Center will host its second-annual Benefit for Learning on Saturday, September 21st, at the Redhook Brewery at 1 Redhook Way in Portsmouth.  The event runs from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. and features live music, live and silent auctions, appetizers and a cash bar. All proceeds benefit The Birchtree Center's educational and therapeutic programs for children and youth with autism and their families.

Musicians Elijah Clark and Demijon Music Clan will offer entertainment at the event.  Live and silent auction items include Disney Park Hopper passes, resort stays, skis, hockey and lacrosse gear, sports tickets, jewelry, massage and salon services, original artwork, handyman services, restaurant gift cards, movie and theater tickets, family entertainment, wine, beer, chocolate, and more.  Appetizers will be served; guests can also sample beers and other beverages from Redhook's cash bar.

Proceeds support the nonprofit Birchtree Center’s work to transform the lives of children and youth with autism.  Twenty-three public school districts in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts send students to attend Birchtree’s year-round, special-educational day school—the only program of its kind in New Hampshire. Birchtree’s autism experts also travel more than 20,000 miles per year to serve students, their families and their instructors in homes, public schools and other community settings throughout northern New England.
