Baker Named Partner at Pierce Atwood
The attorney serves as corporate counsel for emerging, later-stage, and publicly-traded companies throughout their life cycle.

Pierce Atwood LLP is pleased to announce that James C. Baker, an attorney in its Business Practice Group, has been named partner at the firm.
Jamie practices out of Pierce Atwood’s Portsmouth office, where he serves as corporate counsel for emerging, later-stage, and publicly-traded companies throughout their life cycle. Jamie represents buyers, sellers, issuers, investors, and underwriters in private placements, mergers, acquisitions, and public offerings. He also advises publicly traded clients with respect to compliance and reporting obligations under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
Jamie recently completed a business law podcast series on topics such as mergers and acquisitions, alternative fee arrangements, and the issues that company founders face when seeking additional financing.
