Books Alive with Pete the Cat

Saturday, April 9, 10am-2pm

Pete the Cat, that groovy feline who likes to sing his songs as he goes along, will be visiting the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire to greet young fans and help promote the love of reading! Books Alive seeks to make reading a regular family experience. Museum educators will be reading these fun and colorful books, written by Eric Litwin and illustrated by James Dean, throughout the day. A friendly costumed Pete the Cat will pop in and out to greet children, exchange a hug or high-five and pose for photos. There will also be a variety of Pete-the-Cat-inspired literacy, math and creative activities for all guests. Books Alive is sponsored by TD Charitable Foundation. Free with Museum admission. Visit www.childrens-museum.org for more info.
