Boston-Portsmouth Air Show, Summer in the Street this Weekend

Prescott Park Arts Festival summer production of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" premieres Friday at 8 p.m.; "Fully Monty" continues at The Rep.

As most city residents know, there is never a shortage of fun things to do or places to go in Portsmouth. Each Friday, we will offer five suggestions for people who are planning out their weekends.

1. Boston-Portsmouth Air Show to fill the skies: On Saturday and Sunday, the with the Navy's Blue Angels and several aerial acts. The event runs each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease International Tradeport.

2. Willy Wonka opens Friday night: The Prescott Park Arts Festival's summer production of at 8 p.m. and will be performed every weekend throughout the summer.

3. Don't miss "Marley": The documentary about Bob Marley, the legendary Reggae singer/songwriter from Jamaica, will be shown at the Music Hall on Friday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. 

4. Summer in the Street: This Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Pro Portsmouth's Summer in the Street will feature the maritime music of Jeff Warner and friends. This weekly summer concert series is always a great family event.

5. Catch "The Full Monty": The ecstatically funny production is playing at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre from now until July 8.
