Bridge Art, Easter Egg Hunt on Tap This Weekend
Kennedy Gallery and Custom Framing to host "Celebrating Our Bridge" exhibit Friday, Easter Egg hunt Saturday morning.
As most city residents know, there is never a shortage of fun things to do or places to go in Portsmouth. Each Thursday, we will offer five suggestions for people who are planning out their weekends.
1. "Manon (Massenet)" at Music Hall: For those who love opera, the Music Hall will present the production "Manon (Massenet)" on the big screen on Saturday at 12 noon. Tickets for adults are $27.50, Music Hall members tickets cost $24.50 an tickets for people 18 and under are $15.
2. Memorial Bridge art exhibit: On Friday night, the Kennedy Gallery and Custom Framing on Market Street will host a "Celebrating Our Bridge" art exhibit where the paintings of several Portsmouth artists of the Memorial Bridge will be on display.

3. Easter Egg Hunt: For preschoolers and children up through second grade who can't wait until Easter Sunday to meet the Easter Bunny and get some Easter eggs, the Portsmouth Recreation Department will hold the city's annual Easter Egg Hunt at Langdon Park on Saturday morning beginning at 10:30 a.m.
4. Live music: The Press Room will present Gnarlemagne with Love In Stockholm on Saturday at 9 p.m., $6 cover.

5. "Detritus" at Players Ring: The Players Ring will present the drama "Detritus" on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. on Sunday at 7 p.m.
