Fox Run Eye Care

Fox Run Eye Care, PLLC is an independent, optometrist-led vision care practice serving Portsmouth and the greater Seacoast region of New Hampshire. Led by Dr. Amy Catalano Boyer, O.D., the practice offers comprehensive eye exams, vision correction, and a full-service optical shop in one convenient location.

Dr. Amy Catalano Boyer has more than 25 years of experience in optometry and previously practiced for over two decades in Newington before opening her independent office. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University Bloomington and focuses on providing personalized, patient-centered care.

The practice provides annual comprehensive eye exams for both adults and children. These exams include vision testing, eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, eye pressure screening using non-puff or Goldmann tonometry, slit-lamp evaluation, and Optos widefield retinal imaging for a detailed view of eye health. Exams also consider lifestyle factors such as screen use, work demands, and visual comfort.

Dry eye care is addressed through evaluation, diagnosis, and both prescription and non-prescription treatment options, with referrals made when in-office procedures are required. Fox Run Eye Care also offers myopia management using FDA-approved glasses and contact lenses, along with ongoing monitoring of vision changes.

In addition to routine care, the office provides same-day urgent eye visits during business hours for minor eye concerns. More advanced conditions or emergencies are referred to appropriate specialists.

The on-site optical shop offers prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, and advanced lens options for everyday and digital use. Patients receive professional fittings, adjustments, and follow-up care from a team of licensed opticians.

Fox Run Eye Care is supported by a coordinated team, including Dr. Susan Gallant-Behan, O.D., and experienced optical staff led by ABO-certified optician Paul Quitadamo.
