Harp, viola and flute ensemble will premiere completed original work by Philip White.

PCalandra Trio, comprised of viola, harp and flute, will play on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 3 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Kittery Point, Maine, as part of the Historic Portsmouth Chamber Music series, according to a press statement.
This concert is the second of four in the series, which is produced by the Portsmouth Athenaeum. A $20 at-the-door donation is suggested.
Back for a fourth year, Los Angeles-based flutist Ben Smolen and violist Meredith Crawford team up again with Boston-area harpist Amanda Romano to offer more of the varied and beautiful music composed for this instrumental ensemble. In addition to premiering the now complete Harp Trip by California composter Philip White, the group will reprise favorites from their repertoire over the past three seasons at Historic Portsmouth Chamber Music, including Claude Debussy’s Trio for Flute, Viola and Harp as well as the arrangement of his poignant and lyrical Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune.
