Center for Wildlife's Earth Day Extravaganza!

Celebrate Earth Day with Center for Wildlife!

Saturday, April 25th, times vary, CFW Education Pavilion, 385 Mountain Rd, Cape Neddick, ME

Get outside, learn about local wildlife, and celebrate Earth Day with Center for Wildlife! As we prepare for a busy spring season, Earth Day offers a great opportunity to support CFW’s work and have fun learning about the natural world. Events will be hosted with help from our partners in education and conservation, including Amanda Stanley of Lion’s Tooth Wellness; Elder Ron, local Penobscot Elder; and Frank Dehler, local biologist and vernal pool expert. This year, we will celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 25th with various activities hosted throughout the day. All events will be hosted at CFW, activities include:

  • Earth Yoga from 9-10 am
  • Wild Plant and Animal Medicine Walk from 10a-12pm
  • CFW Volunteer Workday from 1-4 pm
  • Amphibians After Dark from 7-9 pm

For more details on each event, please visit our events calendar at www.yorkcenterforwildlife.org. Reservations are required for each event, so please email Emily to reserve your spot today! We hope to see you there!
