Chamber Collaborative Of Greater Portsmouth: Landscapes—N.H. Art Association Painter's Exhibit At Levy Gallery In September

PORTSMOUTH – New Hampshire Art Association artist Peter Anderson will have his latest paintings on exhibit and for sale during the month of September at the association’s Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery. His show is titled, “Landscapes – Real & Imagined.”

Anderson has been a practicing artist since 1980. Born in Roswell, N.M., he currently lives and has a working studio in New London.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature at the University of Denver and the University of Stockholm, Sweden. He went on to receive a Master in Business Administration degree at the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona.

Anderson has been an English teacher in Japan, an international banker in the United States and Asia, and was the co-founder of three start-up businesses in the apparel and technology sectors

He has exhibited in New England and abroad including juried shows at Sunapee and an exhibition from his Goldberg Variations Series for “Gaia” at M.A.D.S Milano, Italy.

NHAA is following the city of Portsmouth's guidelines that masks are not required for those who have been vaccinated, however if visitors are more comfortable setting up a time to view the exhibit by appointment outside of gallery hours, they can call (603) 431-4230 to set up a time.

When: Sept.1 to Sept. 26. Opening reception at the Levy Gallery, Friday, Sept. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Gallery hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sundays from 12 to 5 p.m.

CAPTION: “Slea Head, Ireland,” an oil and cold wax painting by Peter Anderson, will be on exhibit in a show titled "Landscapes - Real & Imagined," during September at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery.
