Clipper Strong Fund Donates $1000 To Gather In City Of Portsmouth
Since its formation in June 2020, the Clipper Strong Fund Committee has completed several efforts.

The Clipper Strong Fund Committee, created by Mayor Rick Becksted to assist small local businesses who might otherwise “fall through the cracks” of support during the pandemic, completed its fourth and final initiative by making a $1000 donation to Gather, the largest hunger relief agency serving the Seacoast, including local business employees hard hit by the pandemic.

Since its formation in June 2020, the Clipper Strong Fund Committee has completed the following efforts in support of small Portsmouth businesses: distributed 250 CSF Care Packages, allocated eighteen $500 mini-grants, distributed 600 “Clipper Strong” facemasks and made the $1000 donation to Gather.
The Clipper Strong Fund received donations large and small, including support from the Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation, Granite State Development Corporation, Newburyport Bank and Piscataqua Savings Bank, as well as from residents.
