Report: Fishing crew near Isle of Shoals had engine room that was flooded.

A fishing crew off the coast of the Isle of Shoals was assisted this morning by the U.S. Coast Guard, according to a report on the Coast Guard’s website.

According to the report, the Northern New England Command Center received a call at about 5 a.m. that the fishing boat, Two Megs, had a flooded engine room.

Teams from Cape Cod and another fishing vessel – the Rachel T – arrived at the scene to help. Helicopters dropped pumps to the boat so they could clear out the water and find the source of the leak.
