PORTSMOUTH, NH — The U.S. Coast Guard rescued three people off the coast of Portsmouth on Friday after their sailing vessel capsized, according to reports on Twitter.
The 42-foot trimaran, “Titan,” capsized about 20 miles offshore. The sailors transmitted an emergency notification, requesting assistance, and were found clinging to the hull of the boat before being rescued.

The three shipmates were flown to the Pease Air National Guard base where EMTs were waiting to assist them, according to officials.
