Dan Brown to Discuss New Book

Rye resident will be at the Music Hall on Friday to benefit Writers on a New England Stage.

Author Dan Brown is expected to discuss his latest book when he appears at the Music Hall on Friday night to benefit the Writers on a New England Stage series.

The Rye resident recently told the Boston Globe Magazine that Robert Langdon, the hero of Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons," could face his most difficult challenge yet in the new book. Brown is scheduled to speak at the Music Hall on Friday at 7:30 p.m. He also told the magazine that his new book will open much differently than his previous ones.

According to the Music Hall's Web site, Brown is expected to talk about writing, movie making, science, religion, and other topics. Brown is also expected to take questions from the audience following his remarks as part of the dialogue with New Hampshire Public Radio’s host Virginia Prescott. Brown is also expected to sign copies of "The Da Vinci Code," according to the Music Hall.
