Why are you seeking elective office?
NH is a state that moves forward slowly. I would like to do what I can to help accelerate the process.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Addressing the coronavirus pandemic--the public health emergency, the economic fallout (high unemployment, evictions, business failures, declining educational opportunities), and the strain it will likely put on state and local budget.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
At this writing I am unopposed.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform
Safe schools, clean water, gun violence prevention, and increasing economic opportunity for NH families.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I was named a partner in my firm because of my ability to listen, to rapidly process information, and devise innovative solutions and strategies to help clients resolve complex issues.
The best advice ever shared with me was …
Talk less, listen more.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I support a state minimum wage, paid family leave, renewable energy assistance, gun violence prevention, and programs to help people who have been adversely impacted by the economic crisis arising out of the pandemic. I believe that all lives will never matter until Black lives do matter. I support mandatory implicit bias training as well as steps to ensure police accountability for misconduct and transparency in cases involving misconduct.
