Dover Man Charged With Credit Card Fraud

The following arrest information was supplied by the Portsmouth Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Sunday, Nov. 6 through Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Sunday:

At 8:56 a.m., police reported a theft on Lafayette Road after the caller said someone stole a backpack and an iPod from their vehicle.

Monday:

At 8:24 a.m., police arrested a Dover man wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Charles Soule, 27, of 18 Ham St. in Dover was wanted for fraudulent use of a credit card.

At 8:34 a.m., police reported a theft of scrap copper and spools of wire on West Road.

At 10:59 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man wanted as a fugitive from justice on Parrott Avenue. Ian Seth Hanley, 30, of 239 Cass St. in Portsmouth was wanted on a bench warrant for wilfull concealment.

At 4:48 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Cemal Yurtseven, 40, of 292 Lang Road in Portsmouth was wanted from wilfull concealment.

Tuesday:

At 7:15 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle theft on Grafton Drive when the caller said he left his car at the transportation center at Pease International Tradeport and when he returned it was gone.

Wednesday:

At 12:13 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man for motor vehicle offenses on Borthwick Avenue and Route 1 Bypass. John S. Forian, 47, of 245 Middle St., Apt. 416 in Portsmouth was charged with driving after revocation or suspension and speed.
