Starring Emma Stone and Viola Davis.  An aspiring author during the civil rights movement of the 1960's decides to write a book detailing the African-American maid's point of view on the white families for which they work, and the hardships they go through on a daily basis . 
Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Kathryn Stockett.

February 23 - Glory. (1989)  Rated R.  122 minutes.  Starring Matthew Broderick, Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington.  Robert Gould Shaw leads the US Civil War's first all-black volunteer company, fighting prejudices of both his own Union army and the Confederates.   The
film won 3 Academy Awards in 1990 for Best Sound, Best Cinematography and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Denzel Washington).  Washington also won a Golden Globe award for his performance.
