Seacoast fashionistas need go no further than downtown Portsmouth to find the most up-to-the-minute wearables in the world. Tonight Portsmouth shops invite style lovers to an international fashion extravaganza. Participating shops are offering unique events, including free instruction on creating flower arrangements and scarf tying, the launch of a new clothes line, fashions made from non-traditional materials like flowers and paper, and models wearing Celtic kilts and elegant Escama prototypes. Escama will also be featured in the FNO celebrations in New York City. Trunk sales, door prizes, glitzy and locally designed fashions and fabulous local photography will all be part of this shopping extravaganza. Need a break during your shopping marathon? A reflexologist and refreshments - from Irish Coffee to fudge, cookies, wine and cheese - are nearby in sponsoring shops. One of our historic homes will be open for a fashion show tableau of dresses and accessories from their collection. The Portsmouth shops are rolling out the red carpets for the evening's shoppers.
