
Women Singing OUT! is proud to present “See Me How I Rise”, on Sunday, May 13th at 3pm at Christ Episcopal Church, 1035 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, NH. This series will be an empowering statement from the first downbeat to the last resounding note!
Artistic director and conductor Claudia Frost, has designed a program that confronts the topic of domestic abuse in three ways; through the eyes of the abused with music such as “Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child,” in defense of the innocent children exemplified by Kurt Bestor’s “Prayer of the Children,” and finally, with the power of healing from Marsie Silvestro’s inspiring music, “See Me How I Rise.”
Joining WSO! will be singer and songwriter Marsie Silvestro, Executive Director of “A Safe Place,” which serves Rockingham and Strafford counties in New Hampshire.
