The 11th Annual Portsmouth Holiday Arts Tour

Immerse yourself in art this weekend on this fun, self-guided tour through the studios of 14 Portsmouth artists. The artists/craftsmen will be displaying beautifully crafted jewelry, hand-thrown stoneware and porcelain, Chinese brush paintings, etchings, photography, forged iron works and more right in the studios in which they were created. The unique atmosphere fostered by the tour will offer you a special look into the life of the artists. Learn about the techniques used by each artist and craftsman to transform such  diverse materials as clay, metal, fabric, paint, glass, and paper into wonderfully handcrafted works of art. You'll get terrific gift ideas for the holidays and maybe spark your own creativity as the art nourishes your spirit and soul. Works will be for sale and custom orders will be welcomed. Take advantage of this once-a-year opportunity to meet local artists in their own studios,  view their beautiful works- both completed and in progress, and make purchases before anyone else does!
