The Case of the Missing Boston Bride

Deborah M. Child, author, lecturer, and independent curator will retrace the amazing journey of a 200-year-old portrait.    Through precise genealogical research Ms. Child will unveil the compelling history of “The Case of the Missing Family Heirloom: A Copley Pastel of a Boston Bride”.

Tonight's presentation is sponsored by Piscataqua Decorative Arts Society, a nonprofit organization with a mission to promote original historical research resulting in publication. The primary focus is on the greater Piscataqua region of New Hampshire and Maine, with connecting links to Massachusetts and beyond.    

The lecture takes at Strawbery Banke Museum’s Tyco Center in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The lecture starts at 5:30 p.m., preceded by refreshments at 5.
