World Tales

ACT ONE's 5th Annual Festival of Fun presents Randy Armstrong and Genevieve Aichele in World Tales - A Mosaic of Music and Stories from Around the World.   

The award-winning Armstrong & Aichele merge hauntingly beautiful and exotic music, with movement and imaginative storytelling to animate timeless folk tales from many countries.  World Tales is played on a stage full of traditional musical instruments from all over the globe.   

Hailed by the Boston Globe as a "sure-fingered guitar virtuoso," Randy Armstrong is the co-founder of Do’a World Music Ensemble and UNU MONDO.  Genevieve Aichele is an actor, playwright, director, and teacher, currently serving as Artistic Director of New Hampshire Theatre Project, based at the West End Studio Theatre in Portsmouth. Working as Artists-in-Residence at dozens of schools and community organizations throughout New England, Armstrong & Aichele have been the recipients of numerous grants from the NH State Council on the Arts, New England Foundation for the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
