Catch 'The Full Monty' at The Rep; Summer in the Street Returns

As most city residents know, there is never a shortage of fun things to do or places to go in Portsmouth. Each Friday, we will offer five suggestions for people who are planning out their weekends.

1. Some like it hot: As the hot weather continues through this weekend, Portsmouth offers plenty of . Here are five suggestions, if you need any ideas.

2. Story of Steve Jobs/Apple on stage: Beginning on Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17 (Father's Day), The Music Hall will present "The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs." According to The Music Hall's website, "The Kent Stevens's STAGE FORCE presents: a self-confessed techno-geek Mike Daisey (played by Brent Askari) exposes the beautiful and the terrible about the world of Apple – from the genius of founder Steve Jobs to the disturbing conditions in China under which our favorite technological wonders are manufactured."

3. Juliet, Juliet, wherefore art thou?: Don't miss Juliet and the Lonesome Romeos at The Press Room on Saturday night at 9. There is a $5 cover charge.

4. Summer in the Street: This Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Pro Portsmouth brings back Summer in the Street with Salt River and Wooden Eye. Pleasant Street is closed to motor vehicle traffic and the music takes over. This weekly summer concert series is always a great family event.

5. Catch "The Full Monty": The ecstatically funny production is playing at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre from now until July 8.
