Fire Danger High Across NH

Officials issued a "red flag" alert Sunday due to hot, dry conditions conducive to brush fires.

A red flag alert was issued for southern New Hampshire Sunday through 8 p.m.

Officials said hot and dry conditions will be conducive to brush fires, which have broken out all over the state in the last couple weeks.

The combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures warranted the red flag alert.
