Former Bellman's Jewelers Needs New Tenant
Retail space on lower Congress Street offers great visibility in brownstone style building.
The former Bellman's Jewelers space on Congress Street has been vacant since last summer and it still represents an ideal location for any number of commercial ventures.
It offers high visibility on lower Congress Street in a brownstone style building that is right around the corner from the Music Hall and across the street from the Music Hall Loft and the Friendly Toast restaurant. It is also located in the Kearsarge Building block. It is being marketed for lease by Grubb Ellis of Portsmouth.
Last June, Bellman's Jewelers was robbed of more than $1 million of jewelry and Portsmouth Police are still investigating that case. The former tenant vacated the store last summer. What do you think would be a good business for this available space. Please let us know.
