Frank Guinta Wins Republican Nomination for Congress
The former Congressman advanced in his quest to retake his seat.

Get ready for Guinta vs. Shea-Porter, Round 3.
Frank Guinta on Tuesday won the Republican nomination for Congress in New Hampshire’s First District.
The Associated Press reported late Tuesday that Guinta beat out challenger Dan Innis by a margin of 49 percent to 41. Fellow challengers Brendan Kelly and Everett Jabour each registered single-digit percentages.

Guinta moves on to face incumbent Democrat Carol Shea-Porter in the Nov. 4 general election. They are familiar foes. Guinta defeated Shea-Porter in 2010, riding a wave of Tea Party support. Shea-Porter took back the seat in 2012.
Guinta, 43, is a former mayor of Manchester.
