The Portsmouth Public Library is showing a range of blockbuster and indie movies at the library this winter. These screenings are FREE, and light refreshments are served. At 6:30 p.m. each night in the Levenson Community Room.

Ben and George finally tie the knot in an idyllic wedding ceremony in lower Manhattan. While struggling with the pain of separation, they are challenged by the tensions and family dynamics of their new arrangement.

Based on the incredible life story of the Godfather of Soul, the film will give a fearless look inside the music, moves and moods of Brown, taking audiences on the journey from his impoverished childhood to his evolution into one of the most influential figures of the 20th century.
