Area Residents to Appear in 'Pinkalicious'

Performances February 14 – February 22, 2015 at the Cambridge YMCA Tickets on Sale Now!

It’s pinktastic! It’s pinkerrific! It’s Pinkalicious! Boston Children’s Theatre (BCT) is tickled pink to present PINKALICIOUS THE MUSICAL featuring 16-year old Hanna Morrisse of Rye in the role of ‘Dr. Wink’ and 9-year old Caraline Shaheen of Portsmouth in the Ensemble. Back by popular demand after a sold out run during the 2014 BCT season, PINKALICIOUS promises to delight audiences of all ages with its infectious songs, vibrant characters and delicious cupcakes! PINKALICIOUS THE MUSICAL runs February 14 – February 22 at the Cambridge YMCA, 820 Mass Ave in Cambridge.

Making her BCT debut, Hanna has performed with Seacoast Rep in Rent, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and in numerous youth productions. At Portsmouth High School where she is a junior she has been seen in Tommy, Hansel and Gretel, The Wiz, Alice in Wonderland and In the Heights. She has also worked with Prescott Park Performing Arts and Stage Door Manor.

No stranger to the stage, Caraline has performed with Seacoast Repertory in their productions of Rumpelstiltskin, Three Billy Goats Gruff and The Wizard of Oz. She studies voice with Miles Burnsz and has sung the National Anthem at a rally for Hillary Clinton.

Based on the wildly popular books by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann, PINKALICIOUS THE MUSICAL tells the story of a young girl who loves everything pink- especially pink cupcakes. As her pink indulgence goes a little too far, Pinkalicious turns pink from head to toe and the only cure involves the color green! Join Pinkalicious, her brother Peter and her loving parents on this pinktastic musical adventure.

PINKALICIOUS THE MUSICAL will be performed at the Cambridge YMCA, 820 Mass Ave, Cambridge, MA on February 14 at 2 pm, February 15 at 2 pm and 4 pm, February 17, 18, 19 and 20 at 2 pm, February 21 at 2 pm and 4 pm and February 22 at 2 pm. Tickets are $27 and can be purchased by visiting the BCT website at www.bostonchildrenstheatre.org or calling the BCT Box Office at 617-424-6634, x222. Grandparents Packages are also available that include 2 tickets to the show, a special souvenir and a photo with the cast.
