The Page Restaurant and Bar hosted autograph session with Boston Red Sox knuckleball pitcher Tim Wakefield.
It didn't matter to diehard Red Sox fans if they had to travel across statelines or hustle to get to The Page Restaurant and Bar on Tuesday after work as long as they got to meet Red Sox knuckle ball pitcher Tim Wakefield.
For more than 90 minutes, Wake autographed Red Sox fans' photos, baseballs, baseball cards, baseball bats, hats, Red Sox jerseys and even a Fenway Park seat during the session sponsored by Sure Shot Promotions.
Wakefield retired from baseball this spring after pitching 15 seasons for the Red Sox from 1995 to 2011. He finished his career with 200 wins and is the third all-time winning pitcher in Red Sox history behind Cy Young and Roger Clemens.
