Kristen Crawford Named to New Post at Alpha Loft

A Portsmouth non-profit has brought on an adjunct professor of advertising and social media to take over fundraising operations.

Alpha Loft, which also has offices in Manchester and in Durham, created the new position for Kristen Crawford.

She has been hired as the director of development and entrepreneurship network, and her job will be to bolster fundraising efforts for Alpha Loft, which is "dedicated to creating an entrepreneurial culture of growing companies in the state of New Hampshire," according to the organization's press release.

She'll also beef up Alpha Loft's entrepreneurship network, the organization said.

Crawford has about 10 years experience in higher education, working in development and in marketing jobs. Currently, she also teaches advertising and social media marketing at her alma mater, St. Joseph's College, in Standish, Maine, where she is an adjunct professor.

She holds a bachelor's degree in communications and a Leadership Master's of Business Administration, also from St. Joseph's. Crawford also earned a certificate in Fundraising from the University of Southern Maine.
