Since 2008, the eight Canadian-based Leahy siblings —Agnes, Angus, Donnell, Doug, Erin, Frank, Maria and Siobheann—have entertained packed theaters across the United States with their energetic and engaging Leahy Family Christmas. Reflecting the family’s love for a diverse range of music and their singular creativity, the program takes audiences on a unique holiday journey of song, dance, and stories; mixing Christmas favorites with original Leahy material.
As Donnell Leahy explains, “Music has always been a huge part of our Christmas experience. As children, if it wasn’t for all of the lights and decorations everywhere, we knew it was Christmas because there was a musical gathering every night of the week. Our house would be alive with people, music, dance and song! Children and adults alike all joined in and participated in the festivities.”

Leahy’s eight instrumentalists, singers, and dancers bring a rare level of originality and musicianship to the stage. This originality includes music that Leahy writes, arranges, and produces. Known for their unique blend of musical styles and genres, their repertoire includes four acclaimed CDs–Leahy, Lakefield, In All Things, and Live–that have world-wide sales of more than half a million copies.
