Location of The Hotel Portsmouth Revealed

It will be operated by local hoteliers Doug Palardy and Dan Innis.

The historic Sise Inn on Court Street is under new ownership.

Local hoteliers Doug Palardy and Dan Innis purchased the inn and renamed it The Hotel Portsmouth. They plan to open it in the spring.

"We will be upgrading the rooms and bathrooms as well as the lobby, breakfast space, and other areas, creating a new "vibe" while maintaining the historic integrity of the property," Innis said. "Portsmouth needs a unique hotel as a option for business and leisure travelers, and we will provide an experience unlike anything else in Portsmouth."

The building was built in the late 1800s by businessman John E. Sise.

Palardy and Innis previously operated the Ale House Inn on Bow Street. They sold it to Lark Hotels a few weeks ago.

Innis recently announced he's running for Congress.
