Barbara Streisand has announced that she is once again thinking about moving to Canada if the democrats don't win back control of the House. Apparently, she had a change of heart about her planned emigration to Canada after Donald Trump won the 2016 election. Yes, Barbara and her fellow anti-Trumpers apparently hate what President Trump is doing to this country. According to them, he simply has to go!
But I'm baffled. Just what is it President Trump is doing that these people feel is so terrible? Is it the low unemployment rate? Is it the booming economy? Is it the record highs the stock market is reaching? Maybe it's the record high rates of black and Hispanic employment, eh? Or perhaps it's the manufacturing industry - the one that was written off as dead by Obama and is now rising fast. Maybe that's it. Maybe it's companies moving operations back here from foreign countries. Perhaps they don't like factories. Or maybe they have a dislike for the steel industry that's on the rise. Tax cuts! I bet that's it. The anti-Trumpers don't like money and as a result of the tax cut they have more of that stuff to deal with. I suppose their dark side might have been hoping for an all out war with North Korea and shuttered when the president but that notion to rest. Maybe they dislike the rise in consumer confidence or the fact that home ownership is way up. Or maybe ..... just maybe ...... because their policies have failed for decades they just hate to see someone succeed where they cannot.
