The Mall at Fox Run Hosted Its Third Annual Book Blast!
Simon Kidgits Club members enjoyed a day of reading and crafts at The Mall at Fox Run!
On Saturday, March 7th, The Mall at Fox Run hosted its 3rd annual Book Blast event for Simon Kidgits Club Members! Parents and children were invited to bring books to life through special read-aloud sessions, giveaways and story-inspired activities. Special guest readers included Robert Lister, Mayor of Portsmouth reading Blown Away, local author Nancy Donovan, author of Oscar the Herring Gull, Victoria Su & Weston Su of The United Way of The Greater Seacoast reading The Book with No Pictures, and Patte Ardizzoni of Rockingham Community Action Plan, who read The Day the Crayons Quit! In addition, University of New Hampshire’s Alpha Phi Omega Community Service Chapter was there to assist the children with fun crafts. Simon also teamed up with Better World Books to provide each child who attended the event a pre-loved book and bookmark to take home.
