Man Takes A Header While Skiing On Portsmouth Streets: Watch
Port City Police warn on Facebook, "What may seem to be a cool idea at the moment rarely turns out to actually be a cool idea."

PORTSMOUTH, NH — An Instagram post featuring a skier hitting the slopes … er, slushy streets, actually ... of Portsmouth is getting a big thumbs down from police in the Port City. On Jan. 6, 2018, police offered commentary on the department's Facebook site and featured a link of the video of a skier being pulled from a vehicle and then, taking a header. The poster called the prank “stupid” and something that should be frowned upon.
“Skis belong on mountains, not roadways,” the post warned. “Teeth belong in your mouth. Darwin would be proud.”
The post noted that while the idea may have seemed “cool” at the time, possible charges, if caught, could have included reckless conduct, reckless operation and disorderly conduct charges.
