Mass. Teen Arrested On Domestic Violence Charge: Portsmouth Police Log

An Amesbury woman charged with DWI after crash and a local man allegedly stole a U-Haul truck full of equipment for the NH Film Festival.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Bonnie K. Gilmore, 34 of Imperial Drive in Eliot, ME, was arrested at 8:49 p.m. on Oct. 17, 2017, on a theft charge. She was arrested on a warrant.

Billy Cotter, 35, of Woodbury Avenue in Portsmouth, was arrested at 7:31 p.m. on Oct. 15, 2017, for unauthorized use of a propelled vehicle. A woman on Maplewood Avenue reported that someone stole her 18-foot U-Haul box truck, taking off down Dennett Street, and driving over a sidewalk in the process. The vehicle was full of equipment for the New Hampshire Film Festival, according to police. The truck vehicle stopped on Bow Street near Chapel Street. Police allegedly located an open package of imitation crab meat and liquor in the front of the truck. The woman told police the items were not hers but she allegedly saw the man eating something before he allegedly entered the truck and fled the area.

Jayson W. Snow, 36, of Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, was arrested at 1:51 a.m. on Sept. 3, 2017, on a bench warrant after a stop on Woodbury Avenue. Brian Jean-Francois, 19, of Michigan Avenue in Lynn, MA, was arrested at 5:24 p.m. on Sept. 2, 2017, for domestic violence-simple assault. He was arrested on a 12-hour domestic violence warrant.

A 16-year-old was arrested at 9:16 p.m. on Sept. 1, 2017, on two counts of conduct after an accident and unsafe lane change after a hit-and-run crash on Borthwick Avenue and Route 33. Two other teens were taken into protective custody. The vehicle was later located at the Fairfield Inn.

Carissa L. Strick, 36, of High Street in Amesbury, MA, was arrested at 9:13 p.m. on Sept. 1, 2017, for driving while intoxicated. Police were sent to a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Lafayette Road. A woman was issued field sobriety tests and then, arrested.
