MGTalks/Innovation: Cool Machines
The next MG Talk is Thursday, February 25th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm when Gloucester Innovation’s Mark Carlotto, Tom Stephenson and Todd Rodgers lead a discussion on how budding inventors and everyday people are getting creative by making their own “cool machines” to help solve some of our region’s environmental challenges. Can we figure out where the fish are going by monitoring ocean temperatures? Is it possible to build a simple sensor to listen to what is going on beneath the waves? Learn about what is happening in this exciting field and find out how you can come in on the ground floor and help us build cool stuff. Gloucester Innovations will have some gear on hand for you to demo.
MG Talks take place in the Gortons Seafood Gallery, 23 Harbor Loop Gloucester, MA 01930. Register for free event at www.maritimegloucester.org/visit/events.
