
A local teen that had been missing for about 20 days has been found, according to police.
Brandon Shaw, 16, of Portsmouth, was reportedly “located safe and unharmed,” according to Detective Sgt. John Peracchi of the Portsmouth Police Department, who also thanked everyone who helped publicize the missing person information.
Both the Portsmouth and Seabrook Police Departments were looking for Shaw in and around Portsmouth, Seabrook, and Salisbury, MA, areas of the Seacoast where he had ties to the communities and had been seen the weekend he went missing, according to police. He was reported missing on Aug. 8; police issued an alert to media outlets on Aug. 19.

Peracchi did not release specific information about how Shaw was found although police previously did not expect foul play or criminal activity.
