Nearly 1,800 Without Power In Portsmouth
Breaking: Parts of the downtown are without power according to alerts online.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — About 13 percent of the city of Portsmouth is without power, according to Eversource and city officials, one of just a handful of power outages across the state after 5 to 10 inches of snow fell on Dec. 12, 2017. Slightly less than 1,800 customers are without power, according to the utility. Police noted on Twitter that the department was posting temporary stop signs to help with traffic since street lights were out.
The department noted that it may be due to a transforming blowing.
