New Bridge Street Bistrot Opens in Portsmouth

There's a new restaurant on the Portsmouth dining scene.

Bridge Street Bistrot & Wine Bar, located at the former Cafe Mirabelle just outside the downtown area, opened last week.

Chef Stephan Mayeux and his wife, Christine, decided to close Cafe Mirabelle and renovate the space. There's an outdoor courtyard area with about 10 seats and alcohol service.

The owners said their new restaurant will continue to be a "small, chef-owned corner cafe serving modest down to earth food and wine."

Bridge Street Bistro serves lunch, dinner, and a Sunday brunch. Menu items include beef tenderloin, salmon Provençal, mussels, and crepes. Find more on the restaurant's website.
