New NH PBS Series Explains How Art Shapes The World

Articulate with Jim Cotter, a weekly, 30-minute program, begins airing on Dec. 17, on New Hampshire PBS Explore.

DURHAM, NH — New Hampshire PBS is presents viewers with a thought-provoking, cultural viewpoint this December. Articulate with Jim Cotter is a weekly 30-minute arts and culture series that shows us how creative expression is an essential human need, one that reflects and shapes the culture we live in. Each week, according to a press statement, veteran broadcast journalist Jim Cotter engages in conversations with artists from across the creative spectrum. This season he profiles guests as diverse as children’s author Daniel Handler, better known as Lemony Snicket, Boston-based sculptor Janet Echelman, and modern day milliner Arturo Rios, among others.

Combining exceptional visual storytelling with a smart and straightforward attitude, Articulate offers a new brand of arts journalism for today’s audience.

“Our goal is to infuse public television—as well as the digital space—with the perspectives of today’s working artists,” said Cotter. “Art is for everyone, and Articulate makes it possible for anyone to connect with the culture, no matter where they are.”
