Newburyport Bank Donates $1,000 To Plates For Change

Newburyport Bank has made a $1,000 donation to the organization Plates for Change as a Hunger Relief Advocate, and to support the Taste, a Plates for Change event. The event is the premiere culinary benefit dedicated to alleviating child hunger within New Hampshire and southern Maine. It will take place on June 22, 2022 at historic Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth, NH.

The mission of Plates for Change is to significantly reduce and end childhood hunger on the Seacoast and surrounding communities. Their efforts help feed local children, and they invest in programs intended to end childhood hunger once and for all.

“A child going hungry is simply not an acceptable outcome in today’s society,” stated Lloyd L. Hamm, President & CEO of the Bank. “What’s needed to alleviate this problem is everyone pitching in, and organizations like Plates for Change.
