Woman Says Someone Paintballed Her Car

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, Sept. 5 through Saturday, Sept. 7.

Thursday:

• At 4:28 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on McDonough Street. Jeffrey M. Trenholm, 50, address unknown was charged with criminal trespass.
• At 4:35 p.m., police reported a car accident on the Route One Bypass northbound where the driver hit a Gulf gas station sign.
• At 4:52 p.m., police reported a theft on Highland Street after the caller said his iPod and some cash were stolen from his vehicle.
• At 6:07 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Greenleaf Woods Drive after the caller said her car was covered in paintballs.

• At 10:43 a.m., police reported a theft on Bartlett Street after the caller said some items were taken from a safe.
• At 1:08 p.m., police reported a theft on Boss Avenue after the caller said some loose change was taken from two vehicles.
• At 1:09 p.m., police reported a theft on Manor Driver after the caller said an item delivered by mail was precipitated by an Internet scam.
• At 3:54 p.m., police reported a theft on Oakwood Drive after a walk-in subject reported a burglary.

• At 1:28 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Congress Street. Gregory Scott Ambrose Jr. of 603 White Cedar Boulevard was charged with disorderly conduct.
• At 8:38 a.m., police reported an animal call at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a 5-year-old child was bitten by her dog on South Street.
• At 3:46 p.m., police arrested a Newfields woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the police station. Sandra M. Acox, 48, of 17 Dixon Road was wanted for forgery.
• At 11:15 p.m., police reported a fight at a loud party on Market Street where there were as many as 50 people.
