NH Institute of Art Wonders: Is Art and Science Connected?
Art talk at Portsmouth's Music Hall Loft on Nov. 6, to explore the answer.

The next installment of the New Hampshire Institute of Art’s Loft Art Talks will explore how science and art are connected at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Music Hall Loft at 131 Congress Street in Portsmouth.
Presented by Alison Williams, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies at New Hampshire Institute of Art (the Institute), this visual presentation will focus on the question: What can scientists learn from artists and artists learn from scientists? With an intense national focus on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, the role of art and creativity within science and as a core workplace skill has never been more relevant.
The Music Hall Loft Art Talks is an expansion of the popular Art Talks program based at the Institute’s Manchester campus. Its debut presentation in October titled “Creativity and the Brain” was met with positive feedback from presenters and Seacoast attendees alike.
